Frequently Asked Questions
1. What are press-on nails?
Press-on nails are ready-to-wear artificial nails that you can apply at home using adhesive tabs or nail glue. They come pre-shaped, pre-designed, and are a quick alternative to salon sets.
2. How long do press-on nails last?
With glue: 1–2 weeks (sometimes longer with proper preparation!)
With adhesive tabs: 1–3 days (perfect for short-term wear)
3. Can I reuse them?
Yes! Press-on nails are reusable with proper removal and care. Gently remove glue residue from the under side of the nail tips and store them safely in their original packaging or a case.
4. Will press-ons damage my natural nails?
Not if applied and removed correctly. Always soak in warm soapy water or use an oil-based remover to gently lift them off—never force them!
5. How do I apply them?
Push your cuticles back
Buff the surface of your natural nails
Clean with alcohol
Apply adhesive tabs or nail glue to your nails (Pro tip: use a blowdryer to apply heat for adhesive tabs)
Place the press-on nail at 45 degrees and press firmly for 20-30 seconds!
Done—serve the look!
6. Do I need to prep my nails first?
Yes! Prepping helps the nails adhere better and last longer. Push back cuticles, buff the surface, and clean with alcohol.
7. What sizes do they come in?
Each set includes multiple sizes to fit most nail beds. You can also file the sides for a perfect fit. Check out our size guide.
8. Can I customize the shape or length?
Totally. You can file the edges of the press-on nails. Want a sharper stiletto or a shorter square? Go for it.
